Recognizing the need to haul granite from Central Vermont across the U.S., brothers Joe and Arthur Bellavance started Bellavance Trucking in 1950. While our company has continued to grow over the past 70 years, it remains a family-owned and operated business. In an effort to grow the services we offer at Bellavance Trucking, we added a dry van division in 1985 to our growing fleet of granite-hauling flatbeds. This provided us with the opportunity to branch out and include the transportation of furniture and paper. In 1990, we expanded yet again by offering step deck and lowbed services.
With this growth came the opportunity to provide the same strong customer service that Joe and Arthur were committed to across a larger range of industries and types of freight. With the use of satellite dispatching and tracking, we have continual, real-time knowledge about shipments from the moment they leave the shipper, to the moment they arrive at their destinations. We understand that when we are hauling your products, it means that you’ve placed your trust in us.
Maintaining our place as an industry leader, Bellavance Trucking is operated by the second and third generations of the Bellavance family. Our tradition of excellent customer service has not wavered. It’s this commitment that has allowed us to grow from a local granite hauler to a full-service trucking company, operating in all 48 states of the continental US and Canada. This experience, combined with the knowledge that we maintain liability and cargo insurance covering your valuable shipments, guarantees a positive experience for all of our customers. We take pride in the relationships we’ve nurtured over the years and look forward to including your business as part of our family.
